Welcome to Fall!
Don't you just LOVE FALL!!! It is one of my favorite times of the year. Things start to slow down a little. The kids are back in school. And, maybe you take a little time to think about God's beautiful creation. This is also a good time to start preparing yourself for Christmas. I know it seems early. But, if Wal-Mart is doing it, don't you think Christians should, too?Don't let Christmas hit you off-guard. It is a great time for Christians to share their faith!! Speaking of getting ready for Christmas... Our choir has begun work on our Christmas musical to be presented on December 20th. We would LOVE to have you join us!! We meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. Come and help us share Christmas with Fort Smith!!!My mother would tell me I was remiss if I just skipped over Thanksgiving!! I believe that Thanksgiving is one of America's greatest gifts to its people. It is a relatively quiet Holiday. Families get together around some GREAT food and are thankful. While I am thinking about being thankful, I must say how very thankful my family and I are to Bluff Avenue Baptist Church for ALL you have done for us this past six weeks!! You have taken care of my family and I so much and you don't even really know us!! Thank you for making us feel at home here. We will try to serve God and this church as long as He allows us to do so. Thanks again for your love as we strive to serve Christ at BABC!In Song,Bro.
