CHILDREN'S NEWS
Hi Kids,
Goodness, it was really chilly this morning...summer is behind us now and we have autumn and winter is still ahead of us which means we have a lot of fun things to look forward to...Like Thanksgiving...and we are to be thankful for all the many blessings God gives to us each and every day.Then it will be Christmas soon...always a fun time for people of all ages...and we always have fun at our church during the Christmas Season. Two very special events at our church are the Christmas Eve service...just the right place to be on Christmas Eve. I wish you all could come, you would enjoy it very much...and the other is the Christmas programs we have...especially the choir, and there are lots of other things going on also, but those are my two favorites...and I know you kids like the Children's Christmas Party...and I do, too...we are planning a party already...butAlways remember the real meaning of Christmas is...Jesus' birthday.

Kids, come join us for a trip to McDonald's around 10:30 a.m. This is for Pre-school through 6th grade!
Come join us for AWANA on Wednesdays from 6:00—7:30 PM. All children ages 5 through 6th grade are welcome! AWANA meets downstairs in the Educational Building. Deborah Byerly is
the Director of the AWANA Program.
Children's Choir—Becky Lawson, Director
The Children's Choir will meet each Sunday night at 5:00 P.M. in the Educational Building where the 5th and 6th graders meet. They are also going to do puppets. We encourage all children 1st through 6th grades to attend.
Sunday School starts at 9:30 A.M. Children's Church is on Sunday at 10:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall. On the Fourth Sunday they come into the main church service.
